  • A Registered Dietician helps our Partner Organizations in serving healthy ethnic-friendly meals to Ethnic Seniors and others.
  • Working with Food Lifeline provides us the opportunity to distribute food to Partner Organization food banks once a week. We are on track to distribute at least 250,000 pounds of food this year valued at $700,000.
  • Working with ACRS, our Staff helps to provide Clients a pathway to citizenship.
  • International Community Health Services, whom PAEP works with, is active in health education workshops, such as on diabetes, and holding periodic health fairs.
  • PAEP has worked with the National Asian Pacific Center on Aging (NAPCA) as a partner working for senior employment.

Other Health-related Programs

Our survey revealed that the most common health problems of our clients are high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis and back problem. Our programs provide healthy meals and food, exercise, blood pressure & diabetes monitoring and access to health and social assistance.

Aging and Disability Services


PAEP has a contract with the Aging & Disability Services (ADS). In order to ensure that PAEP is following the standards setsĀ  forth by the ADS. We have adopted this requirements to properly execute the program of Senior Nutrition Meal. It is also one way of collecting data to guarantee the accuracy of our records being submitted.

Refugee and Immigrant Assistance

Citizenship Classes

Fridays for Laotians, Hmong and Mien Refugees 10 am to 11:30 at The Filipino Community Center, 5740 ML King Jr. Way S, Seattle WA 98118.

Isolation Prevention activities like picnics and other yearly events.

Transportation Assistance

Free bus tickets and shuttle rides to PAEP’s nutrition sites. Transporting the refugees to our lunch programs.
